NATA, TATA & ATA Friendship Cup tournament is huge success in Los Angeles

The strength of the community is in its unity. It was a positive, welcome sign to see all 3 National Organizations NATA, TATA, ATA coming together under one roof to conduct ‘Friendship Cup’ Cricket Tournament in Los Angeles. 
All 3 organizations will be conducting a United Convention in July 2018 in Philadelphia. Inspired by the beliefs of our Great Leaders Dr.Prem Reddy garu, Dr.Paila Malla Reddy garu and Hanumanth Reddy garu and advise from presidents of 3 organizations Rajeshwar Reddy Gangasani garu, Jhansi Reddy garu, Karunakar Asireddy garu, a core committee was formed to take this virtuous thought into the community and set an example. This movement was hailed and applauded by Southern California Telugu Community. 

Core committee members Mallik Banda, VenkataramanaReddy Murari, Sreekanth Reddy Komatireddy, Surya Gangireddy, Anil Arrabelli, Harinder Tallapalli, Ravinder Reddy Kommera, Narsimha Reddy Dhyasani, Rinda Reddy Sama and volunteers along with participants thanked advisory council members and Grand Sponsors Dr.Prem Reddy garu and Dr.Paila Malla Reddy garu for their generous donations.

Cricket Tournament was Kicked Off by Dr.Mohan Mallam garu Chairman of Mega Convention – 2018, Jersey launch by Dr.Paila Malla Reddy garu, Hanumanth Reddy garu and Jhansi Reddy garu. In short span of time received tremendous response from community, over 600 people attended this 2-day tournament. 

Community Leader Dhrama Reddy Gummadi garu graced the occasion and congratulated both teams and handed off Trophies. He also welcomed and congratulated the organizers and volunteers for conducting such a wonderful tournament. He welcomed the idea of Telugu community coming together and doing more community service activities.

This event to this level of magnitude 24 teams 500 players in two days conducting 31 games in 4 grounds was not possible without the help of volunteers from NATA, TATA & ATA along with other major national/ local Telugu organizations from south California. Final Match was a nail-biter went down to the last 2 balls at the end LA Avengers emerged as winners and Cal State Fullerton ended in a runner’s spot. 

 At the end it was an event to witness with disciplined team of Surya Gangireddy, Sreekanth Reddy Komatireddy & Harinder for leading the volunteer team with VenkatReddy Pagidyala, Vijay Vanamareddy, Ram Yalamanchili, Chakravarthy Ayyala, Ramu Rachamalla , Satish Polasi, Nagaraj Goud,Kumar Talinki, Suresh Akunuru , Ramakrishna Reddy Bhuma & Sreekanth Ammineni for doing the umpiring for Quarter finals to Finals under hot sun.

Core committee thanked all volunteers, local organizations for their support to make this event a Grand Success!!! This is just a beginning for greater good…..
