Dancing Bells thrilled Bridge Builders!

Memphis, Tennessee August 6: Bridge Builders a unique organization in Mid-South region, provides students an opportunity to find their voice through unique experiential learning activities that are adventurous, relational and transformative. As a result, participants are empowered to reach across racial and socio-economic divides, are prepared for secondary educational opportunities and careers, and are engaged in civic affairs in their communities. YOUnified is an annual Summer Youth Festival organized by Bridge Builders every year and this year celebrations were peaked with 3,200 youth registering to the event. On August 4, 2017 Tiger Lane at Liberty Bowl Stadium was jammed with jammed with Middle and High School students. Amazing performances by Chi Alpha Patchwork Band, Double Trouble, Dancing Bells of india, Marci Coleman, Lashonte Anderson, Danza Azteca, Breeze’ Coleman, The Omega Lamplighters, L.Y.E. Academy, Tre, U Dig Dance Academy, Ashton London, Key of She, Grizzline, Marco Pave, Hype TM, Chambers Brothers were rocked the youth from 5-9 pm.

Dr. Ramana Vasili Choreographed the presentation by Dancing Bells of India and the students of Indian Ballet Theater Chandra Prabha Vasili, Mounika Kandakatla, Yogita Manasa Dintakurthi, Asmita Boddu, Saanvi Kuntamalla, Rithika Pagala and Nidhi Niharika Chennam performed with grace and beauty. The theme included all Hindu devotional songs such as Brahma Mokkate (బ్రహ్మ మొక్కటే పర బ్రహ్మ మొక్కటే) by Saint Poet Annamacharya, Entho Ruchira (ఎంతో రుచిరా) by Saint Poet Ramadasu,

Classical Kuchipudi Dance-Jatiswaram (జతిస్వరం) and popular Ganesh songs, Vakratunda Mahakaya (వక్రతుండ మహాకాయ), Jaya Jaya Subhakara Vinayaka (జయ జయ శుభకర వినాయక) and Vinayaka Vinayaka (వినాయక వినాయక). Kids enjoyed multi cultural programs and especially small children of six and seven year old performing with classical make-up, costume and temple jewelry. Thrilled audience applauded over and over throughout the performance.
