AAADA Founder Receives Recognition
“All Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse” (AAADA.org) founder Mr. Adarsh Konda had set up a table at Bay Area Telugu Association’s (BATA) event on April 1, 2017 to promote awareness about implications of alcohol and drug abuse. It was a day-long “Ugadi” festival celebrations cultural event held on April 1, 2017 at Indian Community Center, Milpitas, California. It was estimated that over 2000 guests attended the event throughout the day of the event. AP Government Special Representative to North America Mr. Jayaram Komati and local elected officials such as California State Assemblymembers Kansen Chu and Bill Quirk, Chris Moylan from Congressman Ro Khanna’s office, and Mayor of City of Cupertino Savita Vaidhyanathan are among the dignitaries who have attended this event.
During the event, California State Assemblymember Kansen Chu had stopped by the AAADA table and appreciated the efforts of AAADA Founder Mr. Adarsh Konda. Recently, Assembly member Kansen Chu had presented a certificate of recognition to Adarsh Konda on behalf of the California State Assembly “for outstanding contributions to the residents of the State of California by promoting awareness about the implications of alcohol and drug use.”
