Ramzan greetings from AP CM
Chief Minister extends greetings, reinforces his commitment towards welfare and upliftment of the Muslim community.
Chief Minister, Shri. N. Chandrababu Naidu, extended his warm greetings to the nation, and Muslim brothers and sisters in particular, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He said that Eid marks the culmination of the Holy month of Ramzan celebrated with a spirit of brotherhood and of sharing.
“This festive month reinforces the message of love, compassion and universal brotherhood. I extend warm greetings and best wishes to my fellow citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr,” said the Chief Minister in his message.
The Chief Minister also said that his government is committed towards safeguarding the interest of the minorities besides ensuring their social, economic and political upliftment.
It is to be noted that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has earmarked Rs. 840 crores in this year’s budget for the welfare of the minorities.
Furthermore, the Government has been distributing Ramzan Tohfa to its Muslim brothers for the last three years. The gift pack includes 5 kg of wheat flour, 2 kg of vermicelli, 1 kg of sugar and a packet of ghee.
The government is equally focusing on providing good education facilities to the children of the Muslim community. Besides granting Rs. 120 crores for skill based training for poor Muslim children, the government has allotted Rs. 100 crores for the construction of residential schools and hostels for them.
