Counsul General of Korea seeks CM’s help and guidance in replicating ‘Happiness Index’ model in Korea
Indicates that Korean companies are keen on investing in State
Mr. Hyung Tae Kim, Consul General, Korea who has called on the Chief Minister today afternoon said that Korean companies are looking forward for good opportunities for investments and that their companies are willing to set up their units in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Hyung Tae Kim presented two proposals for investment on behalf of the Korean companies. He suggested that a conference should be held very soon in Andhra Pradesh to bring together companies from Korea to apprise about the opportunities available for investment in AP.
Mr. Hyung Tae Kim mentioned that their companies have units in Chennai and Bangalore and that they are keen on expanding their operations to Amaravati very soon.
Speaking about the happiness index which has become a core in measuring the well-being of the people of Andhra Pradesh, the Counsel General expressed to follow the same in their State.
He requested the Chief Minister to guide them in implementing the same in Korea.
To give a push to mutual cooperation between South Korea and Andhra Pradesh, the Counsel General has asked the Chief Minister to visit Korea soon.
