CM Launching the ‘People First’ initiative under RTG
CBN began the day by launching the ‘People First’ initiative for Real Time Governance. He later launched a Publications on Happiness Survey conducted by the State, Global Competitive Index Report and District Domestic Product- Economic Scenario.
After CBN delivered his keynote address, Babu Ahamed, CEO Real Time Governance, explained structure of RTGS and gave a briefing on ‘People First’, social media.
CBN felicitated Kishan of AP State Disaster Management Authority, who made use of thunderbolt prediction technology for saving lives under Real Time Governance & People First. He also felicitated Srikanth of Rural Water Supply Dept. for putting efforts towards making drinking water available in territories of AP under Real Time Governance & People First.
Dr. Parakala Prabhakar, Advisor to Govt., shared the experiences of attracting investments from the recent USA visit.
Presentation on ‘District rating on Gross Value Added(GVA), Kutumba Vikasam(KV), Samaja Vikasam(SV), Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Key Performance Indicators(KPI)’ was done by Dinesh Kumar, Chief Secretary to Government.
B. Rajasekhar, Secretary, Agriculture, Marketing, Co-operation explained the progress made in Primary Sector Mission.
CBN reviewed the feedback from people in PDS and Social Security Pensions through ‘People First’ initiative under RTG.
Director of ICRISAT spoke about Plantix App for smartphones which identifies pest for 17 crops as of now.
CBN instructed collectors to prepare Agriculture, Horticulture and Livestock action plans for each district.
Dr. Manmohan Singh spoke on Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Anantharamu described about efforts to improve Forest cover and Ramanjaneyulu explained the progress made on Rural Development.
After a presentation on Crime & Law and Order was made to CBN, the Police officials to take all measures to ensure safety of women. He also directed them to take remedial measures and analyse why road accidents take place. He also directed them to fully utilise technology in order to maintain law and order. He also called for including volunteers in order to maintain road safety.
