AP Govt’s innovative idea for citizen-centric governance
The Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to provide an opportunity for citizens to reach out directly to Chief Minister by using their smart phones by installing KAIZALA, a free APP developed by Microsoft. Kaizala is a mobile chat app that enables interaction with large number of people at the same time.
This App is being used exclusively by the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and by using Kaizala, Citizens can share their satisfaction levels with the government as well as offer suggestions and feedback for improvement of govt programmes. This feedback will be reviewed by CM directly and based on the feedback analytics, government policies will suitably be improved for betterment of citizens.
From time to time, the CM will take feedback and inputs from citizens on the problems they are facing in their day to day life including pension, ration, water, climate or anything else. These inputs will be used to review the workings of that particular department.
This is a big step towards enabling a Citizen-driven participatory governance that operates in real time mode. The citizens’ valuable inputs can help improve the state of things as well as provide the basis for the next policies developed by the AP Govt.
To connect with the CM, the citizens have to Install Kaizala app from Google Play Store and activate. Later click on Discover and Subscribe to “AP CM Connect”. Then Click on “Share Feedback” on top panel to provide feedback on this government.
The Chief Minister has directed the officials to arrange launching of Kaizala app on April 14 at 4PM in Grievance hall of Ground floor Building No.1, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Velagapudi.
