AP Govt Launched Mahaprasthanam

The state government launched Mahaprasthanam, a programme dedicated to transporting bodies of the dead from the hospitals to the families.
“This move is to ensure that the bodies reach the families, with honour and respect”, said the Chief Minister.
There are 50 vehicles ready to commence services, costing the government ₹8 crore, whose maintenance will be taken care of by NRI Medical College.
