ATA Telangana Kick Off Meeting in Chicago

American Telangana Association (ATA-Telangana) raised $357,200 from Telugu Community in Chicago land area on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 for its upcoming World Telangana Convention 2018 to be held in Houston, TX  on June 29th, 30th and July 01st 2018. Fund raising event conducted by American Telangana Association team attracted 400 guests from Telugu states. 

American Telangana Association Executive Director Narender Chimarla welcomed the guests, American Telangana Association  leadership started evening program with Lighting the lamps and Ganesh prayer and followed by Jaya Jaya Telangana song sung by local talent. Local talent showcased many shows which entertained the audience  

American Telangana Association President, Satya Kandimalla explained about highlights of upcoming World Telangana Convention 2018  and invited all the guests to register and attend the convention. He also mentioned about the  charity works that American Telangana Association conducted  like mobilizing the funds for Houston flood victims and helping them . He also gave an update about ATA vedukalu conducted in Telangana in November 2017.

American Telangana Association Chairman Karunakar Madhavaram explained how American Telangana Association formed and what’s the goals of organization are, what we achieved since it’s inception and what are our future goals. The Convention Kick-Off event is organized by Adhoc Committee member Srinivas Chada, Board Memer, Krishna Rangaraju, Standing Committee Chairs,  Ramchandra Reddy Ade and Sai Gongati.

American Telangana Association Treasurer Prathap Chintalapani thanked and announced all the donors for upcoming convention and supporters of the American Telangana Association.

Thanks to all local  talent team led by Praveen Jaligama,  for the wonderful entertainment provided for the audience

Special thanks to Regional Director, Ranga Reddy Lenkala, Pallepaata Aata Notaa Coordinator, Bindu Gongati and all ATA-Telangana Chicago volunteers  for organizing the event and making it a grand success.
