TAL Volleyball Tournament 2019 in London

Telugu Association of London (TAL) has conducted the 7th Annual Volleyball Tournament in Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, Brentford in London on 26th January 2019.

TAL has started another sporting year 2019 with Volleyball Tournament and many more sporting events such as badminton and the prestigious TAL Premier League to follow, for Telugu people in and around London.

TAL Sports trustee Murali Thadiparthi, Treasurer Sridhar Somisetty, Sports Executive Sunil Nagandla congratulated the winning teams for their true display of sporting spirit and skills.

The EAGLES emerged as the winners, who excelled in their game and remain unbeaten in the tourney. Best player of the tournament was awarded Vamshi Pothineni of Eagles team for his exceptional play and emerging young player awards were received by Karthik and Siddarth from Wick Warriors Team.

The COOL CRUISERS team have claimed the Runners up cup while the ACERS stood as the 2nd Runners-up in the tournament. The tournament was played by more than 60 Telugu players in 7 teams, more than 30 games were played in the tournament.

TAL Sports Trustee Murali Thadiparthi has praised all players for their sportsmanship and commitment towards the sport. He invited all players to continue their support to sport and to the community. He requested everyone to encourage kids and youth to participate in sport and to be active, competitive and healthy. Murali has specially thanked the event Sports Executive Sunil Nagandla and coordinators Vamsi Sunki, Karthik Thiriveedhi, Rajesh Veeramachaneni, Ravinder Reddy Goparaju, Shyam Bheemreddy, Raj Vejendla, Malla Reddy and Suresh Rapaka also the other volunteers who played a key role in successfully organising the event.
