Donation of Stretcher Beds

During the Second Wave of Covid – 19 Pandemic, 14 Rotary Clubs, 2 Rotaract Clubs along with friends of Rotary District 3150 have come together to fill in the needs of some of the government hospitals in the cities and towns of Telangana State.
200 stretcher beds worth Rs. 25 lakhs are being donated to Gandhi Hospital, Osmania Hospital along with 10 other district hospitals as a part of Rotary District 3150 Covid relief work.
Rtn. N.V. Hanmanth Reddy, District Governor, RID 3150 Governor said- “Soon after getting request from various Govt. Hospitals of Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Bodhan, Jagtial, Armoor, Banswada, Tandoor, Warangal, Kamareddy and Karimnagar Districts of Telangana, A group of 60 Rotarians started actively working on temporary oxygen beds to be used in emergencies and during overflow of patients at the hospital. Within 3 weeks raised 25+ Lakhs to donate 200 Stretcher beds and mattress with fittings for oxygen cylinder and I V stand. ”
The 14 contributing clubs for the COVID-19 relief work are: The ROTARY CLUB of HYDERABAD DECCAN, HYDERABAD MIDTOWN, SECUNDERABAD WEST, SMART HYDERABAD, SECUNDERABAD, ABHYUDAY HYDERABAD, HYDERABAD EAST, SECUNDERABAD ICONS, CYBERABAD, HYDERABAD ELITE, AMEERPET, NIZAMABAD, BHADRACHALAM, AND SATELLITE CLUB OF HYDERABAD DECCAN, and The ROTARACT CLUB OF: MEDICOS & SECUNDERABAD. This product is also supported by Rotary Partners– Sai Samasthan USA Chicago, JNTUCEH batch of 87-91 and friends. – Said a Rotary Member during the Press Meet.
