Success of Dharma Porata Deeksha at Delhi, a moral victory to people of AP: CM
Support extended by entire nation instilled confidence among people of AP:CM
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu described the success of Dharama porata deeksha in Delhi seeking special category status to AP as a moral victory for the people of AP. He said entire country extended support for the justified cause of Special category status to AP. He said the solidarity extended by leaders of various political parties instilled confidence among people of AP.
Delivering his concluding remarks at the end of fast, the Chief Minister said the BJP govt has still an opportunity to fulfill 18 state bifurcation assurances and special category status to AP as it is going to introduce appropriation bill in Parliament tomorrow. He said the people of AP are appealing the BJP govt to fulfill all the state bifurcation assurances.
Referring to the remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi against him during Guntur meeting recently, the Chief Minister said no one can beat Modi in acting and he is a great actor. He said the Prime Minister has been destroying the constitutional bodies including CBI, ED and other prestigious organizations.
Adding sentiment to his dharma porata deeksha in Andhra Bhavan New Delhi, the Chief Minister said that AP will certainly get special category status. He cited several instances in which the AP state achieved success by launching agitations from AP Bhavan.
The Chief Minister said that a padayatra will be organized from AP bhavan and 11 persons will submit memorandum to President of India tomorrow seeking special category status to AP.
Referring to the open letter of BJP president Amit Shah to people of AP, the Chief Minister said that his action was right turn and the BJP took U turn by failing to fulfill state bifurcation assurances.
Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, former union Minister Jaswant Singh, Farooq Abdullah and others visited the concluding programme of CM’s dharma porata Deeksha.
At the end Deve Gowda offered lime juice to Chandrababu Naidu marking the conclusion of deeksha.
