Chief Minister conducted a meeting at the RTG Control Centre
The Chief Minister conducted a meeting at the RTG Control Centre, to follow up with issues that have been handled by the surveillance systems.
He enquired about updates and action taken regarding the child abduction case that took in Kakinada.
Through CCTV surveillance cameras, the centre recorded the crime, and the local police and district administration took immediate action. He commended their efforts and reviewed the case study presented, which included many recommendations.
The Health Department has been notified, and has been instructed to install CCTV cameras at the entry and exit points of gynaecology wards. The Chief Minister also asked them to use more advanced technology and implement facial recognition systems to locate the suspect easily. Child tags that activate alarms must be installed at all major maternity hospitals, and entries must be restricted to fewer people, he said.
The recommendations also included the maintenance of a register for visitors, and the integration of the CCTV surveillance of all major surveillance systems with the RTG Control Centre.
Besides this, the Chief Minister followed up with the water hyacinth (and unwanted weeds) in the Srisailam Reservoir. An agency has been engaged for this purpose, which will provide a case study and feedback in two days.
He also requested information regarding the bus mishap that took place in Anantapur, where a bus just escaped falling into a well.
