T.A.T.A. Mother’s Day Event on May 18 2019 – New York
The Telangana American Telugu Association (www.telanganaus.org) was founded to promote and perpetuate the culture and social conditions of Telangana and people of Telugu descent in general. “Telugu Kalala Thota Telangana Sevala Kota” being the first national organization for Telangana in North America, the organization will act as a beacon light to all Telangana organizations across the country for generations to come. As part of their continued service, T.A.T.A New York team organized “Mother’s Day 2019” in Radisson Hotel, Hauppauge, NY. The T.A.T.A New York team partnered with TANA and TLCA in celebrating the Mother’s Day by dedicating time and space to all Mothers across the communities. More than 250 Women from all walks of life gathered to spend quality time with family, friends and loved ones. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by Mother’s through Participating in Games, Enjoying the Wonderful Performances, Dancing to the Tunes of DJ, Showcasing their Fashion Talent, Mesmerizing Ramp walks, Enjoying the Shopping experience and not mention the Taste of Yummy Delicacies. Actress Ankita Jhaveri and MC Deepthi Grandhi also highlighted the event with their presence.
As the saying goes every Picture speaks a volume fits perfectly when we look at all the smiles and beautiful ladies and participants. No wonder the Aura of happiness spreads a mile when Motherhood bears a smile. Many prominent women from the community attended and blessed the effort of T.A.T.A and its Leadership especially Usha Mannem(Board of Director NY) and Madhavi Soleti(Women’s Chair)for initiating and reaching out to everyone to make this event a grand SUCCESS.
The event started with the welcome note from T.A.T.A Women’s chair Madhavi Soleti followed by welcome song by Deepthi Grandhi and continued the flow with exciting programs. The event ended with a Thank You note from T.A.T.A Board of Director Usha Mannem. Other representatives including TANA Women’s Chair Lakshmi Devineni, Women’s Chair Elect Sirisha Tunuguntla, Regional Coordinators Deepika Sammeta & Shailaja Challapalli, TLCA Joint-Secretary Rama Vanama, Joint-Treasurer Umarani Polireddi, EC Member Yamuna Mannava also spearheaded and drove the event through its phases.
Today’s entire event was fully supported by Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy garu, the man who needs no introduction across Telugu and other communities in United States, India and around the world. He has inspired millions through his Leadership, Humanity, Humility and Philanthropism. Along with Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy garu T.A.T.A President Vikram Jangam, Treasurer Ranjeeth Kyatham, Board of Directors Sharath Vemuganti, Sahodar Peddireddi and Usha Mannem are the back bone of T.A.T.A organization in New York and across the nation whose support and encouragement is invaluable. TANA Executive Vice President Jay Talluri, TLCA Board of Trustee’s Chair Dr. Purna Atluri and TLCA President Ashok Chintakunta also attended and wished the crowd and appreciated the organizing team for their time and effort.
T.A.T.A Regional Vice President Mallik Reddy, Membership Chair Pavan Ravva, Literary Chair Srinivas Guduru, Regional Coordinator Prahallad provided all the help needed in organizing this event.
T.A.T.A conveyed special thanks to all the women who made this event a success and also thanked all the volunteers for their untiring effort in coordinating the Dance Performances and shows. The performances were choreographed by Swetha Tadepalli, Nagasree Nalla and Uma Putane and was energetically performed by Usha Mannem, Mounika Kunta, Raagini Ravva, Madhavi Soleti, Rama Vanama, Sirisha Tunuguntla, Deepika Sammeta, Vani Singirikonda, Suneetha Polepalle, Madhavi Korukonda, Vani Jojode, Parveen Rampal, Seethal Shah, Kavya, Vasu, Maitri and Vidya.
