Cultural Programs Registration is now open

Dear Telugu language and culture lovers:  

Telugu Association of Greater Sacramento (TAGS) is pleased to announce it’s 15^th Anniversary and Sankranthi Celebrations  on January 19^th 2019 in Folsom and invites its members & friends of our community to showcase their talent at this wonderful event. 

Key Details:

• Time Duration Categories and Requirements: 

     Note: there are only 2 spots for Category II and Category III programs.

• The selected theme should be related to the promotion of our language, culture and nature, such as our festivals, devotion, our relations/sentiments, classical dance form, rain, patriotism etc. to name a few.  Each cultural program has to have a theme behind the presentation/program. 
• Criteria for selection:
  • Uniqueness of the theme,
  • The duration of the program and Time
  • Number of participants
• Last Datefor:
  • Registration : 15th Nov 2018
  • Cultural Committee Review Completion:  23rd Nov 2018
  • Preliminary Review/Rehearsals and Finalize Selections : 9th Dec 2018
  • Final Rehearsals : 5th and/or 6th Jan 2019
  • Audio File submission : 15th Dec 2018
• Other details:
  • Audio File Format: 320mbps .mp3
  • 30sec -1 min introduction text of the item for audience to understand.
• Entries that missed the above deadlines will be placed in the waiting list and will be considered as opportunity opens up. 

Important Notes:

• In the selection process, TAGS Cultural committee decision is final.  
• Duplicate/multiple entries for the same program by same or multiple parties is not allowed and
• A participant’s participation in multiple programs is not allowed.

Individuals who are interested to perform, but do not have a group, can send their name and contact info to us using this below form. TAGS Cultural Committee will coordinate with you and do their best to accommodate you into an appropriate program.
