TAGKC PICNIC – Saturday, Aug 24th 2019

కార్తీకమాసం అనగానే వనభోజనాల హడావిడి మొదలౌతుంది. ఊరూవాడా సందడిగా ఉంటుంది. వనభోజనాల ప్రసక్తి  అనేక ధార్మిక గ్రంధాల్లో ఉంది. ముఖ్యంగా ”కార్తీకపురాణం’‘లో కార్తీక పౌర్ణమినాడు నైమిశారణ్యంలో మునులందరూ సూతమహర్షి ఆధ్వర్యంలో వనభోజనాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకున్నట్లు లిఖితమైంది. ఉసిరిచెట్టు కింద కార్తీక దామోదరునిగా ప్రఖ్యాతుడైన శ్రీహరి ప్రతిమను ప్రతిష్ఠించి, ఉసిరికలతో హరిని పూజించి, గోవింద నామస్మరణ చేస్తూ షోడశోపచారాలతో పూజించి ఆనక వనభోజనాలు చేశారు. 

అలా పూర్వం మహర్షులు ఆచరించిన కార్తీక వనభోజనాలు ఇప్పటికీ ఏర్పాటు చేసుకుంటున్నాం.నలుగురితో కలిసి ఆనందిస్తున్నాం
