TAGKC Fun-filled Afternoon – Special Lunch/Games on Feb 25

TAGKC would like to invite our members and others in our community, along with their families, to join us for a fun-filled Sunday afternoon (02/25/2018) where TAGKC will be sponsoring the temple lunch followed by fun-filled games for everyone.

1. Rangoli 
2. Kids Art (2 Groups: 10 and below, 11 and above)
3. Carrom Board (2 Groups: 12 and below, 13 and above)
4. Chess (2 Groups: 12 and below, 13 and above)

Basic Guidelines/Rules:

• Participation is $5.00 per person per game (even if in a team) and must be paid at the Venue’s registration desk.
• All proceed (post expenses) will be donated to Hindu Temple. 
• Lunch is from 11:00 – 2:30PM. Subject to availability, special food will be available for sale after 2:30PM as well.
• Registration desk for games will open at 1:00PM and all games will begin (in parallel) at 1:30PM – 4:00PM.
• Each game/group will have 2 winners. Prizes will be awarded in the TAGKC Ugadi Vedukalu on 03/31.
• Online registration/sign-ups for games is recommended so that we can plan accordingly. Registration will be closed if we have max participants. 
• The following are some of the basic guidelines to each of those games. Additional rules will be available at the registration desk as well.

 Rangoli/Muggula Poti

• Each team can have a max of 3 Please add additional team members name in the comment section.
• Basic supplies/colors will be provided. If additional or special color is needed for your team, please bring them.
• A max of 6 feet circular base will be provided for each team. 10 – 15 teams will be participating in parallel in each round.
• Each team will have a max of 45 min. Pictures will be taken and Winners will be announced only after all teams have completed their part.
• 3 Visiting parents will be chosen to pick the winners.
• Kids Art
  • A theme will be provided at the venue. Max time 45 min.
  • Pencils and color pencils/crayons will be provided. No water colors or paints will be allowed.
• Carrom Board
  • Only singles are allowed. Opponents will be chosen via a draw on the location within the age group.
  • Each player will play 3 board games and the one with most points after 3 games will proceed to next stage of knock out rounds.
  • Final will be played until the first player reaches 25 points.
• Chess
  • Only singles are allowed. Opponents will be chosen via a draw on the location within the age group.
