TAGKC COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund Update

As COVID-19 continues to spread, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope you and your family in good spirits and health! Now, more than ever, our community needs us. And we need you.

As an organization, TAGKC has taken a cause “Covid -19: Food drive for Indian Students in and around Kansas”. We have several universities in the Kansas area in which several Indian students study. In the current situation, they have been struggling to get the basic food needs given the issues with mobility, lack of part-time work, etc. We started driving this week and planning to deliver the basic groceries ( Rice, Atta, Dal, Salt, Chili Powder, Tamarind, Sooji etc…).

Within a short span of time, the community responded and contributed which helped us to schedule first distributions of groceries this weekend to help about 80-100 students.

The goal is to help 500 students in the area in a phased manner.

TAGKC is urging community members to join hands with us to raise funds for the cause. We request you to be part of this effort with your generous donation.
