Shruti Laya presents Girijashankar Sundaresan in Bala Shruti on April 28

While the Bala Shruti programs are primarily for local members to perform, we also occasionally feature concerts by visiting artists that will educate and inspire these youngsters. Last year, we presented Kum. Aishwarya Srinivasan, the great grand daughter of the legendary M. S. Subbulakshmi. In this  next Bala Shruti concert on Saturday. April 28, we are delighted to bring you Girijashankar Sundaresan, a highly accomplished young artist from Chennai. Accompanying will be our own highly accomplished artists Swetha Narasimhan on the violin and Shenthuraan Tharmarajah on the mrudangam.

We also have Aashna Jonnalagadda presenting a mini concert, accompanied by Mahita Bandlamudi and Nitin Mahadevan. Please come and enjoy these free concerts!

Volunteers are needed for setup, front desk and MC/introductions for Bala Shruti. Please reach out if your children will be available. Hours will count for PVSA.
