KCTCA Bathukamma Celebration at Lakewood Middle School

We have planned Additional fun and informative Activities for weekday evenings (outlined below) leading up to The Finale on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at Lakewood Middle School.

A unique & fun opportunity to learn and practice a great devotional and social tradition with the help of our multi-talented folk artist Ms. Shalini.

Thursday (10/11/2018) @6:30 PM At 14909 S Gallery St, Olathe, KS 66062 (Symphony Hill Club House)
o   Meet & Greet with Shalini.
o   Significance of Batukamma
o   Sing along practice of Bathukamma songs & Kolatam

Friday (10/12/2018)@6:30 PM. Venue: location coming up
Hands-on training and preparation of Bathukamma with flower arrangements

Bathukamma songs, folk dance, Kolatam, and Bathukamma flower arrangements are typically performed by kids and adults of all ages.

So everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate and take advantage of this unique opportunity in a casual environment.
