గత కొద్ది రోజుల క్రిందట మా కాకినాడ దగ్గరలో….అంటే పిఠాపురం మీదుగా గొల్లప్రోలు దాటగానే అడ్డ రోడ్డు దగ్గర బస్సు దిగి  రెండు,మూడు మైళ్ళు నడిచో, ఎద్దు బండిలోనో తాటిపర్తి గ్రామం తర్వాత చెరువు గట్టు దిగగానే వచ్చే చిన్న పల్లెటూరు చిన జగ్గం పేట..లో త్రాగు నీటి సౌకర్యం లేదు కాబట్టి ఆ లోటు తీర్చడానికి వంగూరి ఫౌండేషన్ ఆఫ్ అమెరికా సంకల్పించి మీ సహాయం అర్ధిస్తూ మేము చేసిన విన్నపానికి ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా సత్వరంగా సహృదయం తో స్పందించి తమ విరాళాలు అందించిన దాతలందరికీ ముందుగా మా ధన్యవాదాలు.

గత పది రోజులలో అటు ఆస్ట్రేలియా నుంచి, భారత దేశం అమెరికా ఖండాల నుంచి సుమారు $5500 దాకా మాకు  అందిన విరాళాల ఆధారంగా చిన జగ్గం పేట గ్రామంలో త్రాగు నీటి సౌకర్య పథకం అమలుకు స్వీకారం చుట్టాం.  మౌలికంగా కావలసిన కొత్త బోర్ వెల్ తవ్వకం పనులు వారం, పది రోజులలో ప్రారంభం అవుతాయి. గత వారమే అక్కడి నీటి నిలువల సాంకేతిక పరీక్షలు పూర్తి చేసి అక్కడి TDC, తదితర సమాచారం కొన్ని తయారీ కంపెనీలకి పంపించే ఏర్పాట్లు జరిగాయి.  వాటిని బట్టి త్వరలోనే సరి అయిన water treatment plant final quotations వస్తాయి. ప్రస్తుత అంచనాల ప్రకారం ఈ మొత్తం త్రాగు నీటి పథకం పూర్తి కావడానికి మరొక $3500-$4000 దాకా ఖర్చు అవుతుంది.
