ATA Day & International Women’s day in Louisville
Recently American Telugu association, Kentucky team celebrated ATA Day and International women’s day. It was celebrated with local performances, felicitation to the honorary guests and celebrity singers Sunitha & Dinkar who rocked the show.
The celebrations were successfully organized by ATA Kentucky Regional coordinator Dr. Mahesh Kumar Gundluru along with his team, Kavitha Gundluru, Hemaprasad & Kavitha Saddala, Ramya & Anil Ganteti, Venkateshwara Reddy Bussu, Rajagopal Reddy Katanguri, Krishna & Bharathi Alamanda, Siva Rama Koti Reddy Boya, Sujith Kakulamarri, Saraswathi Thutupalli along with Kentucky national team leaders Dr. Thirupathi Reddy Yerramreddy (Chair, by-laws) and Srikanth Kotagiri (Co-Chair, SM). There was a huge response from the entire Telugu community with 650 people participated in this event. Senetor Julie Raque Adams addressed the community on the part of women’s day celebrations.
The following ATA leaders attended as guest of honor for the program: ATA President Karunakar Asireddy garu, ATA Trustee Anil Bodireddy garu, Web committee chair Umesh Muthyala garu, Community chair, Ramakrishna Reddy Ala garu, PR Chair Sudha Reddy garu, Nashville Regional coordinator Narender Reddy Nookala garu and Standing committee co-chair Kishore Reddy Gudur garu along with various prominent people from Louisville & Lexington Kentucky Telugu community. During his speech, President Dr. Karunakar Asireddy said, ATA belongs to the entire Telugu community and we always work together with local Telugu teams. Board of trustee Anil Boddireddy explained about various ATA services in USA and in India.
During this program, ATA leaders felicitated the following prominent honorary guests for their services towards local Louisville and Lexington Telugu communities: Purna Bhaskar Veeramachineni, Akber Pasha, Dr. Suresh Kodali, Dr. Mahendra Sunkara, Dr. Suresh Alankar, Dr. Ramesh Ghanta, Dr. Subba Reddy Palli and Dr. Gopi.
