More than a Dancer, a true Telugu Traditional Girl!
Ms. Yogita Manasa, daughter of Raghuram and Rohini Dintakurthi, is a telugu girl that earned her diploma while keeping in touch with her heritage.
Ms.Yogita Manasa was born in Narasaraopet, Guntur (Dt), Andhra Pradesh, India. She did her elementary schooling in New Delhi and in USA, middle schooling in Bangalore and her High schooling in Collierville High School, TN. She got her official High School diploma on May 18th at Bellevue Baptist Church during the graduation ceremony held by the Collierville School district.
They are the traditional conservationists and bridges for future generations!
Even though Raghuram’s family is staying in USA, they never forgot Indian traditional values and ethics; always comply traditional etiquette with higher values. Ms.Yogita Manasa and her brother Abhiram respect their elders and are much disciplined. Not only do the siblings address everybody with smile but they have also learnt good values and morals from their parents. Ms.Yogita Manasa and Abhiram are undergoing training on Carnatic vocal music and they sing well. Abhiram is good in Carnatic vocal while Manasa is a very graceful traditional Kuchipudi dancer. She is undergoing special training in traditional Kuchipudi dance from Dr.Ramana & Chandra Prabha Vasil, since 2014 under the umbrella of Spiritual Foundation / Indian Ballet Theater.

The various traditional Kuchipudi dance formations sunce as Brahmanjali, Jathi Swaram, Thillaana, Raama Shabdam, Krishna Shabdam, Koluvaithiva Ranga Sai; Ramadasu Kirthanaas such as Idigo Bhadradri Gauthami Adigo Chudandi and Adivo Alladivo Sri Harivaasamu, Kulukaka Naduvaro Kommalaara, Kolani Dopariki Gobbilloo, Pidikita Thanlambraalu, Muddu Gaare Yashoda and several other Annamacharya Kirthanas alike, Manasa can gracefully perform. Over the past three years Manasa has participated in various dance performances, hosted by Telugu Association of Memphis’ (TAM) Ugadi celebrations, Sankranthi sambaralu, also Indian Association of Memphis’ India festival every year. She has also performed in several ritual programs like Brahmostavam, Shivarathri, Ganesh Nimajjanam, Annual Yagnas and many other religious programs hosted by Memphis Sri Venkateswara temple.
Mansa wishes to pursue a career in health care. Her goal is to become a doctor. With available resources she decided to study with in the city where she lives by studying in the University of Memphis. She hopes to achieve her goals while staying connected with her family and her roots. The Dintakurthi family has proved in their day to day life that not only big organizations are necessary to conserve culture and tradition, but families can also contribute in its preservation. Unlike people of her age, Manasa wore traditional attire to her graduation party.
