T.A.T.A. Women’s Day Celebrations in New York
                                    Telangana American Telugu Association (T.A.T.A.) is all about helping communities, spreading our culture, guiding our next generation and organizing charity activities. As part of their continued social service, T.A.T.A New York team, organized “Women’s Day 2019” in New Hyde Park, NY. The New York T.A.T.A team partnered with ISHA Foundation to advocate healthy living for women on the occasion of Women’s Day. Around one hundred women participated and performed UPA Yoga under the guidance of ISHA Foundation instructors and also learned techniques on how to better one’s way of living by practicing these yoga techniques every day. This was followed by inspiring speeches from our guest speakers Dr. Vasundhara Kalasapudi and Dr. Sridevi Bhumi. Multiple participants also shared their experiences with the audience. The event went on by serving healthy lunch followed by social hour and cake ceremony to wrap up the Women’s Day event. This event was greatly appreciated and acknowledged by various communities and complimented T.A.T.A New York team in organizing a useful event dedicated to women and their health.
T.A.T.A Women’s Chair Madhavi Soleti, New York Board of Director Usha Mannem and Cultural Co-Chair Rama Vanama spearheaded the event with the help of T.A.T.A. New York Team.
T.A.T.A New York Team conveyed special thanks to the women who made this event a grand success through participation and by serving delicious food and also thanked all the T.A.T.A. volunteers especially Prahallad, Ashok Chintakunta and Hemanth Kancharla for their untiring efforts in making this a memorable event. Looking at the huge response, T.A.T.A New York team thanked the community for recognizing its efforts towards social service and promised to organize many such events in future.
Today’s entire event was supported and encouraged by Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy garu, Ranjeeth Kyatham(Treasurer), Board of Directors Sharath Vemuganti and Sahodar Peddireddi. While addressing the Media New York’s T.A.T.A team pledged that they want to take these organizational activities to next level by participating and organizing such social activities in mainstream America as well as in motherland.
