Mexico Declares Legal War on the US After ICE Shooting!
Houston: The fatal shooting of Mexican citizen Lorenzo Salgado Araujo by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents has created fresh tension between the United States and Mexico. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said her government will not stop with diplomatic protests and is preparing to take legal action against the US over the incident.
According to ICE, Salgado Araujo rammed an agent’s vehicle and tried to drive towards an officer, forcing them to open fire. However, his family has strongly denied these claims. They say he was a construction worker with no criminal record and was simply driving to work when the incident happened.
The case has now sparked a major debate in both countries, with many asking, “What really happened?” As both sides present different versions of the incident, all eyes are on how this case will affect US-Mexico relations in the coming days.
