TANA Summer Workshops 2026 Chess Mastery

TANA : The Telugu Association of North America (TANA), in collaboration with Sapthora, is organizing a “Chess Mastery” workshop as part of its Summer Workshops 2026 initiative. This program is specifically designed for students aged 6 and older to develop their strategic thinking and gaming skills.

Course Curriculum and Objectives: 
The 4-day workshop aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of chess. Throughout the sessions, participants will learn how chess pieces move and master fundamental rules, including check, checkmate, castling, and pawn promotion. By the conclusion of the workshop, students will be able to capture pieces correctly, perform a simple checkmate using a king and queen, and gain the confidence to play a full game independently.

Schedule and Registration:
The workshop consists of 4 sessions, scheduled to take place from July 6th to July 9th, 2026. Each session will be held daily from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM EST. The registration fee for the course is $30, and interested individuals can register by scanning the QR code provided on the promotional flyer.
