SENNES Takes Lab-Grown Diamonds to Milan Fashion Week with Dhruv Kapoor
SENNES, the lab-grown diamond jewellery brand under the House of Senco, served as the official jewellery partner for designer Dhruv Kapoor’s runway show at Milan Fashion Week. Following its appearance earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival, this collaboration marks another significant global milestone for the brand, building upon its initial international debut in Milan in September 2024.
Spotlight on the ‘Toi et Moi’ Collection:
At the heart of the showcase was the debut of ‘Toi et Moi’ by SENNES, a contemporary reimagining of the classic French phrase meaning “You and Me”. The line features two distinct colored lab-grown diamonds coming together to create a single composition while retaining their individual identities. Approximately 71 pieces spanning necklaces, earrings, rings, pendants, and bracelets were integrated across the runway looks.
Blending Design Perspectives on the Runway:
Joita Sen, Director and Head of Marketing & Design at SENNES and Senco Gold & Diamonds, noted that the collection reflects the brand’s perspective on modern luxury: celebrating connection without uniformity. By combining SENNES’ precision lab-grown diamonds with Dhruv Kapoor’s convention-questioning fashion language, the jewellery functioned as an integral part of the overall silhouette rather than a mere accessory.
Shaping a Contemporary Indian Luxury Voice:
Beyond the runway presentation, the Milan showcase highlights SENNES’ broader ambition to participate actively in the global luxury dialogue. Rather than simply taking Indian craftsmanship abroad, the brand aims to redefine modern luxury codes through a distinct, expressive, and forward-looking sensibility.
