The event, organised by the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA) – Poultry India, is expected to attract industry representatives from around 120 countries.
The three-day exhibition will bring poultry farmers, equipment manufacturers, feed producers, breeders, veterinarians, technology companies and industry experts under one roof. Spread across seven exhibition halls, it will feature equipment and technologies used in poultry breeding, hatcheries, feed production, farm management, housing, disease prevention, egg processing and waste management.
Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Panchayati Raj, Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, is scheduled to inaugurate the exhibition. He will also inaugurate Poultry Knowledge Day, a conference being organised on November 24 at HICC–Novotel, Hitech City, a day ahead of the expo.
India’s poultry industry has grown into a major contributor to the country’s agricultural economy, providing employment and income opportunities for farmers and businesses involved in feed manufacturing, transportation, processing and equipment supply. The sector is estimated to support 5–6 million livelihoods.
According to government data, India produced 142.77 billion eggs in 2023–24, retaining its position as the world’s second-largest egg producer. With demand for poultry products continuing to grow, producers are increasingly looking at ways to improve productivity, manage feed costs, strengthen disease prevention and introduce modern farming practices.
The Hyderabad exhibition will provide an opportunity for poultry businesses to assess new equipment, meet domestic and overseas suppliers and explore commercial partnerships. Technologies related to automated feeding, climate-controlled housing, farm monitoring, veterinary diagnostics and feed efficiency are expected to be among the key areas of interest.
*Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, President, IPEMA–Poultry India* , said the exhibition would bring together different segments of the poultry industry and help producers and manufacturers understand developments in technology and farm management. He said the event would also provide opportunities for business discussions and collaboration between Indian and international companies.
The Poultry Knowledge Day conference on November 24 will feature discussions involving scientists, policymakers, veterinarians and industry representatives. Topics will include poultry health, nutrition, vaccination, feed management, farm automation, artificial intelligence and sustainable production practices. The conference will also address practical challenges faced by poultry producers and developments that could improve farm efficiency.
The previous edition of Poultry India Expo recorded 51,251 visitors and participation from more than 500 exhibitors, with the exhibition covering approximately 35,000 square metres. Organisers expect participation to increase this year, with more than 550 exhibitors scheduled to showcase their products and services.
IPEMA works with more than 20 international poultry associations and 40 national industry bodies, helping bring overseas manufacturers, technology providers and industry representatives to the event.
The exhibition is expected to be of particular interest to poultry farmers, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises looking to expand operations or invest in new equipment. It will also provide Indian manufacturers an opportunity to explore distribution arrangements and overseas business opportunities.
Poultry India Expo 2026 will be open to industry visitors from 10 am to 6 pm on November 25, 26 and 27 at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.
