OFBJP Arizona Celebrates Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Birthday & Telangana Liberation Day

Arizona: The Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) Arizona Chapter organized a special program commemorating the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Telangana Liberation Day. The gathering brought together members, families and karyakartas to celebrate Bharat’s progress while remembering the sacrifices and historic events that led to the liberation of Hyderabad State.

The program began with opening remarks by OFBJP Arizona Chapter Lead Dr. Karthik Reddy Donuur. He welcomed the gathering and outlined the objectives of OFBJP, emphasizing its role in connecting the Indian diaspora with Bharat, promoting awareness of India’s development and presenting an informed perspective on the country’s achievements to the global community.

As part of the birthday celebration, participants lit traditional diyas and offered their best wishes to Prime Minister Modi for good health, strength and continued service to the nation.

In his address, Dr. Karthik Reddy spoke about Bharat’s remarkable progress under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and the country’s increasingly influential position in the evolving global order. He also highlighted India’s growing leadership among emerging economies and discussed the significance and success of the recent BRICS Summit.

The program also commemorated Telangana Liberation Day. Dr. Karthik Reddy recalled the historic integration of Hyderabad State into the Indian Union in 1948. He highlighted the determined leadership of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and spoke about Operation Polo, which played a decisive role in bringing Hyderabad State into the Indian Union. The gathering paid tribute to the martyrs and countless individuals who struggled for freedom from the Nizam’s rule.

The event was held with the support and guidance of OFBJP President Dr. Adapa Prasad and Organizational Secretary Dr. Vasudev Patel, along with the dedicated efforts of karyakartas Srinivas Gupta, Rama Krishnan, Srijith Sreenivasan, Muthu Natarajan, Shashikanth, Bhagvan, Prasad Koranne, Damodar, Dheeraj Mantena, Adi Moreddy, Vijay, Sainath Pandurang, Ganesh Gopalapanicker, Divakar, Narsa Reddy, Raj and Chenna Reddy.

The OFBJP Arizona Chapter expressed its heartfelt appreciation to all the karyakartas, volunteers, families and community members whose participation and support made the celebration meaningful and memorable.

The program concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening community engagement, sharing Bharat’s development journey and working collectively toward the vision of a strong, self-reliant and developed Bharat.
