New Admissions Open

India Cultural Center and Temple (ICCT) is planning to celebrate 25^th Anniversary in a grand manner during May/June 2019. This memorable occasion will include the religious events that you would like to be part of and cultural programs that you will enjoy to watch.

ICCT Dance Academy in collaboration with Indian Ballet Theater will perform “Dances of the Divine” to our devotees during this “Silver Jubilee Dance Extravaganza!”

NOW we are accepting new students for this great event. New students will be trained for a couple months and learning skills will be tested for acceptance into the program. Accepted students will continue their learning of classical Kuchipudi dance until the grand finale in 2019.

Dancing Bells of India: During the course of training, students will be given an opportunity to perform at events conducted by ICCT Temple, Telugu Association of Memphis, India Fest and other local organizations. Students who spend time and attend special classes will have additional opportunities to perform outside of Memphis. This privilege will be extended for students with extraordinary skills and talent and parents who play active role in the growth of the dance academy. Only limited new students will be accepted for this Silver Jubilee Dance Extravaganza. Students who successfully complete all training and give mandatory stage performances will be awarded a "Certificate of Completion and Participation" in November 2019 at a graduation ceremony.
