Lokesh Assures Parents.. Student Safety a Top Priority in Kashmir Crisis..

Tensions between India and Pakistan are intensifying day by day. Amid these developments, emergency situations are arising across the country. People living in border areas, especially those who have travelled from other states, are facing serious difficulties. Among them, students seem to be the most affected. Currently, many students who have gone to Jammu & Kashmir for higher studies are caught in a state of fear and uncertainty. Some of them belong to Andhra Pradesh.
Taking note of this situation, the Andhra Pradesh government responded swiftly. It has begun efforts to safely bring back the students studying in Kashmir. A significant number of students from Andhra Pradesh are enrolled in various educational institutions across Jammu & Kashmir. Although the situation was stable until recently, Pakistan-sponsored terror attacks, the Pahalgam incident, and recent Indian air strikes on terror camps have worsened the atmosphere. As a result, the parents of these students are extremely anxious about their children’s safety.
Anticipating the gravity of the issue, TDP (Telugu Desam Party) National General Secretary and State Education Minister Nara Lokesh initiated special measures for student safety. He entrusted this responsibility to TDP’s young woman leader and Member of Parliament from Nandyal, Baireddy Shabari. Acting promptly on Lokesh’s instructions, Shabari reached out to senior IAS officer Lav Agarwal, who serves as the Resident Commissioner in Delhi. In her letter, she requested coordination with central government bodies to ensure the safe return of the students.
On Friday morning, Lokesh released a statement addressing this matter. He assured that parents of the students studying in Kashmir need not worry. The government is fully committed to bringing every student back safely to Andhra Pradesh. He also mentioned that various government departments are working in coordination to execute this operation swiftly and efficiently.
