Janhvi Kapoor reportedly set for Tamil debut

Janhvi Kapoor is reportedly set to make her Tamil debut with a woman-centric web series titled Kurathi. According to industry reports, the project will be backed by filmmaker Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions and directed by Sarkunam. However, the makers have not yet made an official announcement.

The series has reportedly been in development for some time, and the team is said to be working towards taking it forward. With Pa Ranjith associated with the project, Kurathi is expected to explore a socially rooted and female-led narrative.

Janhvi has already expanded her presence in South Indian cinema with Devara: Part 1 and Ram Charan’s Peddi. If the Tamil web series materialises, it could mark another significant milestone in her growing South Indian career.
