EuroKids Celebrates Independence Day with Nationwide Preschool Festivities

As India marks its 80th Independence Day, EuroKids, a leading preschool brand, organized large-scale celebrations across more than 2,000 centers spanning over 550 cities. The nationwide events saw enthusiastic participation from over 1,25,000 children and more than 15,000 teachers.

Key Highlights of the Celebrations
Value-Based Education: Through EuroKids’ specialized practical learning programs, children were introduced to foundational values such as unity, diversity, patriotism, and responsible citizenship in an age-appropriate manner.

Learning Through Play: Designed to be accessible even to two-year-olds, the activities featured a tricolor kite festival, patriotic games, mini patriotic parades, and a “Unity in Diversity” ramp walk, all aimed at fostering teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence.

Early Childhood Development: EuroKids emphasizes that 90% of a child’s brain development occurs between the ages of 2 and 6, making structured, play-based learning from age two a critical foundation for future growth.

“Awesome August” Campaign: The celebrations were part of the month-long “Awesome August” initiative, which integrates environmental, social, and cultural themes with essential life skills.

Curriculum Foundation: The events were guided by the “Heureka – The Visible Thinking Curriculum,” inspired by Harvard University’s “Project Zero”.

Leadership Perspective
Commenting on the occasion, KVS Seshasai, CEO of the Pre-K Division at Lighthouse Learning (EuroKids), stated that a child’s independent learning journey begins as early as age two. He emphasized that the institution’s goal is to instill empathy, connection, and responsible citizenship through practical experiences alongside book knowledge, thereby inspiring tomorrow’s citizens through these historic celebrations.
