A Telugu student, who had gone to America for higher studies, died in a road accident. The deceased, Achanta Revanth, hailed from Bodavada in Parchur Mandal of Bapatla district in Andhra Pradesh. The 22-year-old Revanth, who had completed his engineering, went to the US in December last year to pursue his MS, as informed by his relatives. He was currently studying at Dakota State University within the Madison area.

According to the information, the accident occurred on Tuesday morning (according to Indian Standard Time) while he was traveling in a car with three friends for birthday celebrations. The car lost control and overturned due to sudden changes in weather conditions, leading to dense fog. Alongside Revanth, the three friends also sustained serious injuries in the accident.

However, it was confirmed that Revanth died. His death has plunged Bodavada, his hometown, into deep sorrow. Revanth’s mother had passed away a few years ago, and his father, Raghubabu, works as a physiotherapist. The untimely demise of his son, who went to America for higher education, has left the father heartbroken.
