ATA Prepares for the 19th ATA Conference and Youth Convention in Baltimore

The city of Baltimore is gearing up to host the prestigious 19th ATA Conference and Youth Convention. The ATA leadership announced that extensive preparations are underway to ensure these celebrations, which will see thousands of NRI dignitaries and members of the Telugu community in attendance, are truly memorable and unprecedented. ATA President Jayanth Challa has called for collective support from the community to ensure the success of this monumental event, which is being organized by hundreds of volunteers across nearly 70 committees.

Diverse Array of Programs:
Scheduled for three days, from July 31 to August 2, the convention promises a rich blend of culture, education, and professional development:

Business & Innovation: The convention will feature business seminars, B2B matchmaking, executive networking sessions, and an “Idea Buzz” program in collaboration with Zee TV 5.

Medical & Educational: A CME conference will explore the impact of Artificial Intelligence on healthcare, focusing on cardiology, diabetes, and cancer research.

Cultural Highlights: The event will feature the divine wedding ceremony of Lord Shiva and Parvati, a fashion show, the Niraval Band live concert, ATA beauty pageants, Ashtavadhana, and literary conferences.

Community Engagement: The convention includes an ATA Matrimony platform to connect Telugu youth, along with a “mini-mall” style exhibition featuring various vendors ranging from jewelry to real estate and educational services.

ATA’s Legacy of Service:
Established in 1991, the American Telugu Association (ATA) is celebrating its 35th year. Over the decades, it has become a cornerstone for the Telugu community in North America, providing cultural, social, and charitable support. Through the ATA Foundation, the organization has consistently provided aid during crises, including COVID-19 and natural disasters, while also supporting educational and medical initiatives in the homeland.
