Sara Arjun Reportedly in Talks for Ram Charan- Sukumar’s RC17
Expectations are soaring around RC17, which marks Ram Charan’s reunion with director Sukumar after their blockbuster Rangasthalam. While the project is currently in pre production, the casting of the female lead has become a talking point.
Names such as Kiara Advani, Rashmika Mandanna and Rukmini Vasanth have previously been linked to the film. Now, reports suggest that Sara Arjun, who recently caught attention with Dhurandhar, is being considered for the lead role. There is also speculation that she has been nearly finalised for the project.
Sara, who began her career as a child artiste, has already worked across multiple languages and gained recognition for her performances. Her increased visibility following Dhurandhar has now made the possibility of her joining a major Telugu project particularly interesting.
However, the makers have not officially confirmed her casting yet, and the reports remain unverified. The film is expected to be formally launched next month, with an official announcement likely to follow.
Produced on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers, RC17 is said to feature music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is reportedly being planned as a high-voltage, stylish entertainer, with the script work already progressing. Ram Charan is also expected to undergo changes in his look and physique for the role.
The makers are reportedly targeting a formal launch in September, followed by regular shooting from November. If Sara Arjun is indeed finalised, her casting will add another interesting layer to the much awaited Ram Charan-Sukumar reunion.
