Team Kannappa Introduces Mohanbabu Character as the Ferocious Mahadeva Shastri

Legendary actor Mohan Babu marks his incredible 50-year journey in the film industry as he enters his Golden Jubilee year. To celebrate this milestone, the team behind his upcoming project Kannappa unveiled his character's first look poster, introducing him as Mahadeva Shastri.

In the arresting poster, Mohan Babu exudes intensity, portrayed in a fierce and powerful stance. Dressed in traditional Brahmin attire, with Rudraksha malas adorning his neck and wrists, he holds a weapon and gazes solemnly, embodying a figure of strength and reverence. Behind him, the poster features a backdrop of devoted Lord Shiva followers, adding a spiritual depth to the image.

The quotation- “Shaivam- When arrogance intertwines with faith, it births a force like no other: Mahadeva Sastri,” hints about Mohan Babu’s character in the movie.

Kannappa is a particularly special film for the Manchu family, as it brings together three generations of stars: Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu, and Avram Manchu.

Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, Sharath Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal are the other prominent cast of the movie which will have a Pan India release.
