Another Party Surfaces in the Country… E20 Janata Party…

Following the satire of the “Cockroach Janata Party,” which gained nationwide attention during the NEET paper leak protests, another satirical party has been launched: the E20 Janata Party. The party made its debut on social media.

Its primary demand is that petrol pumps must offer 100% pure petrol alongside the 20% ethanol-blended fuel (E20). The party also insists that citizens should have the freedom to choose between E20 petrol and regular petrol.

Launched on X (formerly Twitter), the party’s account has already gained over 295,000 followers. Currently, E20 blended petrol is being sold across the country. However, motorists have been raising concerns, complaining that it reduces vehicle mileage and causes engine issues.

In light of this, the E20 Janata Party is demanding that 100% pure petrol be made available at fuel stations, giving vehicle owners the freedom to choose their preferred fuel. The party is also demanding the resignation of Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, who strongly supports E20 petrol.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Gadkari has approached the Bombay High Court regarding online posts alleging that he and his family are personally profiting from the government’s E20 petrol initiative, stating that these claims are defamatory.
