Group of women from Kaligiri village in Udayagiri Constituency joined the 87th day of Padayatra at Kudumuludinnepadu village and extended their support to Jagan. They highlighted about the regional issues they face in the area.
Daily wage labourers working in Tobacco fields from Krishnareddypalem met the YSRCP Chief and shared their grievances. They stated that they hardly earn Rs. 100/- per day. Due to drought and lack of water resources, tobacco cultivation has been on a decline. They requested Jagan to regularise their wages.
YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured them that he will look into the Daily wage labourers problems on top priority once YSRCP is in power and do the needful.
The local residents of Udayagiri met with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy highlighting the fluoride problem which is severe in majority of the mandals.
The groundwater in these villages has high fluoride content. Chronic kidney patients, handicapped, and fluorosis patients are in the rise as a result. They are not receiving proper medicare in hospitals even if they have Arogyasri cards.
They requested Jagan to grant them pensions, employment opportunities for their family members, houses or lands for their families and ration.
YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured that the YSRCP Government will take appropriate steps and highlighted that CM Naidu will not fulfil any promises to the them or the State.
