Smt. Bujji, an active member of YSRCP from Vadamalpet mandal complained to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that three TDP firms namely Galla Foods, Srini Foods and Heritage foods subsidiary firms are continuously cheating farmers by fixing their own price cap for the mangoes and looting the farmers. She requested the opposition leader to make all the mango firms functions under a cooperative society to curb the frauds. She also demanded a mango processing factory in the district.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured that he will look into it and take up steps for the welfare of mango farmers once YSRCP forms the government government.

A contract employee of Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JWC), Mr. Basha met with YSRCP Chief in Ruvulavari Kandriga village for intervention in salary hike for the contract employees appointed in Degree Colleges as lectures and regularisation of them. JKC contract employees (mentors), working in Govt degree college since 2005-06 were paid INR 8000/- then and a hike later was made amounting to INR 12000/- only, whereas any direct contract employees (lectures) in degree colleges are paid INR 31500/- which is the standard pay scale in Andhra Pradesh for Contract employees.

The JKC has submitted a petition before YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy to regularize them and also increase their salary from Rs 12, 000 to 31, 500 (in tandem with salaries of the contract employees). JKC representatives reiterated to Jagan, “This has been the situation since 2006 and they have approached TDP Government several times regarding this and the Government has ignored them always.” YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured the representatives of Jawahar Knowledge Centres that the matter will be looked into seriously and will ensure justice to the contract employees once YSRCP Government is in power.

A representation led by Surendra Mudiraj, State Secretary of Rashtra Kari Darshi met Jagan Mohan Reddy. He highlighted to the YSRCP Chief that BC (D) category people have been mis represented. They are 30 lakhs in number but they were shown as a meagre 4 percent only. When YS Rajashekar Reddy was in power he shifted them from BC (D) to BC (A). But some TDP leaders filed a writ petition and stopped the process. In this regard, they requested Jagan Mohan Reddy to hear their petition. Government is only mentioning few castes in BC (D) and portraying as if they are working for all.
