Award Winning Film ‘Muthayya’ To Premiere On ETV Win This Summer

Award winning film Muthayya is all set to premiere on ETV Win later this summer. The film narrates the story of a 70 year old man, who dreams of acting in movies before he dies, and his struggle to make his dream come true despite several obstacles.

Directed by Bhaskhar Maurya, the film has been jointly produced by Vamsi Karumanchi and Vrinda Prasad under Hylife Entertainments Pvt Ltd and Fictionary Entertainment LLP banners. Divakar Mani is the cinematographer and also the co-producer of the film.

K Sudhakar Reddy, best known for his performances in films like Balagam and Bapu, plays the lead role, along with newcomer Arun Raj. Purna Chandra, Mounika Bomma played other key roles in the film.

The comedy drama film had its world premiere at UK Asian Film Festival in London, and later it went on to win Best Feature Film in Indian Languages category at 28th Kolkata International Film Festival, Best Debut Director at Meta Film Festival, Dubai, and Best Film at Indic Film Utsav. It has also been screened at South Asian Film Festival of Montreal (Canada), Habitat Film Festival (New Delhi), India Film Festival of Alberta (Canada), Third ACTion Film Festival’s (Canada), Cinemaking International Film Festival (Bangladesh), and Ischia Global Fest (Italy).
