King100 Likely to Skip Dasara Race; Birthday Update Expected

The success of Lenin has reportedly brought renewed confidence to the Akkineni camp, with Nagarjuna now fully focused on his landmark King100 project. Although the film was initially rumored to target a Dasara release, industry buzz suggests the makers are no longer keen on that window due to heavy competition from multiple big ticket releases.

Sources say the team is prioritizing quality over deadlines and is willing to take additional time before locking the release. Meanwhile, the proposed Akkineni family multi starrer featuring Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil has reportedly been put on hold, with King 100 taking precedence.

Directed by Ra Karthik and produced by Annapurna Studios, the film is yet to receive an official announcement, first look, or glimpse. However, fans are expecting the first major update around Nagarjuna’s birthday in August. As of now, December 2026 or Sankranthi 2027 are said to be the likely release windows, though an official confirmation is still awaited.
