Balakrishna Likely to Be Discharged Tomorrow, Advised Six Weeks of Rest
Nandamuri Balakrishna is recovering well after undergoing knee surgery at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad and is likely to be discharged tomorrow. Doctors are said to be satisfied with his post-surgery recovery over the past two days.
The actor sustained the injury while filming an action sequence for NBK111 near Rajahmundry. Medical examinations revealed a tear in the left quadriceps tendon along with damage to the surrounding muscles and ligaments. Surgeons successfully reattached the tendon to the kneecap and repaired the affected tissues during a surgery that lasted over three hours.
Doctors have reportedly advised Balakrishna to take complete rest for around six weeks before resuming work. He is expected to return to the sets of NBK111 after receiving medical clearance.
