Representatives of Andhra Pradesh Electricity Meter Readers Association met YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy near Jonnawada Village and shared their grievances.
They broke down in front of the opposition leader that they have been working for last 20 years as contract employees and serving in electricity board but the salaries paid is are very less.
They urged Mr.Reddy to regularise them as electricity employees and provide them equal pay for equal work and help them have justice in revising the pay structure and by abolishing piece system.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured them that YSRCP would conduct a comprehensive study on regularisation of all contract employees and help them in priority once YSRCP forms government
