CM Revanth Reddy inaugurated Young India Police School at Manchirevula

CM SPEECH POINTS:
Young India Police School is very much important for every police personnel working in the Telangana State. The establishment of a police school was included in the election manifesto. Former Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru laid foundation stones for many universities in the country. Nehru’s vision helped out the country to reach the level of competing with the countries of the world.
Only a few of the Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers are being remembered in the country. The decisions taken by those popular leaders etched a mark in the country. Every Chief Minister established his own brand image. Former AP CM NT Rama Rao won the hearts of every poor person by launching Rs 2 per Kg Rice scheme. Chandrababu Naidu created a brand by developing IT in Hyderabad. People remembered YS Rajashekhar Reddy as a farmer’s brother. Today I made my own mark with the “Young India” brand.
With the inspiration of Mahatma Gandhi , the state government created the Young India brand in Telangana. The future of the country lies in the classrooms. Hence, we accorded top priority to education and employment and these two are being considered to develop our own brand. Established Young India Skills University to provide technical skills training to the unemployed. Appointed noted Industrialist Anand Mahendra as the Chairperson of the university. Students who join the university will get job security. Making efforts to promote the Young India Skills University as the best university in the country.
Efforts are also on to establish Young India Sports University and Academy aiming to win medals in the next Olympic games. Constructing Young India Residential Schools on an area of 25 acres in every Assembly constituency. Worrying about the decrease of students enrollment due to lack of admissions at the primary level in government schools. The state government decided to introduce reforms in the government school system by launching Pre – Schools in the place of first grade.
The police school will be developed to compete with Sainik school. The government is ready to provide substantial funds for this. It is the responsibility of all of us to develop the police school as a role model. Appeal to the private companies to provide financial assistance to the police school as a social responsibility. A corpus fund of Rs.100 crore is being created for police school. The government is ready to give necessary permissions for this.
