RC17 Script Locked; Ram Charan-Sukumar Film Set to Begin This Year

The script for RC17, starring Ram Charan and directed by Sukumar, has reportedly been locked after months of pre-production. The team is now focused on location scouting, casting, and other pre production work. Contrary to earlier speculation, the film is said to be a single-part project rather than a two-part franchise.

Sources suggest Sukumar has designed a commercial action entertainer with a fresh and powerful character for Ram Charan, featuring a perfect blend of mass appeal and emotional depth. The makers are also said to be working extensively on action choreography, look tests, and production design.

As per industry buzz, the film is likely to be launched officially in September, with regular shooting expected to commence from November. Reuniting after the blockbuster Rangasthalam, the Ram Charan- Sukumar combination has already generated huge excitement among fans. However, an official announcement regarding the shooting schedule and release plans is still awaited.
