CM Revanth Reddy extends warm greetings to Telangana women on Bathukamma festival
Hyderabad : Honourable Chief Minister Shri A Revanth Reddy extended warm greetings to all women and girls of the Telangana state on the occasion of the Bathukamma festival. The Chief minister wished the women will celebrate the festival of the flowers with great grandeur by reciting songs and organizing cultural events during the 9 day ‘ Engili Poola Bathukamma to Saddula Bathukamma.’
The CM highlighted the unique feature of Bathukamma festival worshiping nature with the decoration variety of flowers and also Goddess Gauramma which is a distinctive tradition in the country. The Bathukamma festival is a true testament to the collective way of life of the people of Telangana and their unity in sharing both joys and sorrows, CM Revanth Reddy said that the festival will showcase the cultural grandeur of the people and the unity of women which embodies numerous social values.
Stating that Bathukamma stands as a symbol of Telangana’s self-respect and its time-honored traditions, the Chief Minister affirmed that the People’s government accorded priority to environmental conservation, in alignment with Telangana’s culture of worshipping nature. The CM expressed the hope that the Bathukamma celebrations would fill every home with joy and the people of Telangana celebrate the festival with happiness and prosperity.
