The Association of Indo Americans (AIA), in partnership with Bolly 92.3 FM, invites the Bay Area community to celebrate Dussehra Diwali Dhamaka 2026 on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. Running from noon to 11:00 PM, this vibrant community festival will bring together families, community organizations, cultural performers, and visitors for a memorable celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of unity in diversity.
Promoted as one of the largest Dussehra and Diwali celebrations in the United States, the event promises an exciting blend of traditional ceremonies, spectacular entertainment, shopping, food, and family-friendly activities. The celebration will feature an epic 40-foot Raavan Dahan and spectacular fireworks, creating a memorable highlight for attendees.
A Celebration of India’s Rich Cultural Heritage
Dussehra Diwali Dhamaka 2026 will showcase a diverse range of religious, cultural, and entertainment programs reflecting India’s traditions and regional diversity. Highlights include:
- Spiritual and devotional programs: Hanuman Chalisa Sahasra Paath, an 8-foot Durga idol, Sindhoor Khela, Dhunuchi Naach, Rath Yatra, and Maha Mangal Arti.
- Traditional cultural performances: Ram Leela and Kerala Chenda Melam, celebrating India’s timeless stories, music, and regional traditions.
- Music and entertainment: Disco Dandiya, Bolly Sing Along, Antakshari, and the AIA Idol singing competition.
- Family fun and interactive activities: Maha Khoj, a treasure hunt featuring hundreds of gifts; carnival rides and games; and a variety of competitions for participants of different ages.
- Shopping and culinary experiences: More than 150 shopping booths and over 25 food vendors offering a wide range of products and flavors.
- Community wellness: A free health fair providing an opportunity for community members to engage with health and wellness resources.
