Zeta Partners with Head Held High Foundation to Launch Skilling Centre in Hyderabad
Next-generation banking technology company Zeta has formally inaugurated a dedicated skilling centre in Hyderabad to empower underprivileged youth with job-ready capabilities and entrepreneurial confidence. Delivered in strategic partnership with the Head Held High Foundation, the initiative combines functional literacy, spoken English, digital competence, and workplace readiness training. Zeta is fully funding curriculum delivery, facility setup, and trainer costs across three centers Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Each location will host a three-month structured program catering to two batches of 60 participants each. While the Hyderabad center formally launched on October 10, 2026, operations across the Bengaluru and Mumbai centers have also commenced.
Bridging the Employability Gap Through Zeta CARES:
Operating under the Employability pillar of the company’s CSR umbrella, Zeta CARES (which encompasses Education, Employability, Entrepreneurship, and Ecology), the initiative addresses critical skill deficits highlighted by the India Skills Report 2026, which benchmarked overall national employability at 56.35%. Delivered through Head Held High Foundation’s ‘Make India Capable’ framework, the curriculum focuses on three core pillars:
Functional Skills: Spoken English, effective communication, and confidence building.
Digital Skills: Practical usage of digital tools in daily and corporate environments.
Workplace Skills: Teamwork, professional etiquette, and workplace adaptability.
Leadership Perspectives and CSR Legacy:
Highlighting the mission behind the initiative, Sivaram Kowta, President at Zeta India, emphasized that while India possesses vast ambition, marginalized youth often lack structured opportunities to build market-relevant skills. Pankaj Singh Thakur, CEO of Head Held High Foundation, added that quality skilling expands career choices, enabling youth to chart independent livelihoods. This employment-focused program builds upon Zeta’s ongoing Project Shiksha, which previously established two computer labs in Bengaluru government schools, providing over 600 students with foundational STEM and coding exposure.
