Telugu Association of London Elects New Board of Trustees at Annual General Meeting 2026
Burnham, United Kingdom – 10 October 2026: The Telugu Association of London (TAL), a registered charity and cultural organisation serving the Telugu community across the United Kingdom, successfully concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 10 October 2026 at Burnham Grammar School, Burnham, United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the outgoing Board of Trustees (BoT) presented its annual reports, including financial statements, and provided members with an overview of the various cultural, social and sporting activities organised by TAL during its tenure.
Outgoing Chairman Mr Ravi Sabba thanked the Board of Trustees, Anil Ananthula, Ashok Madishetti, Kiran Kappeta, Ravi Mocherla, Satya Peddireddi and Venkat Neela and all TAL members for their continued support and cooperation throughout the term. He announced the conclusion of the current Board’s three-year term and confirmed that all associated committees would be dissolved with effect from the day of the AGM.
The Election Officer, Mr. Radha Manohar Macherla formally announced the election results, following which the newly elected Board of Trustees took the oath of office. The outgoing Board congratulated the newly elected trustees and expressed its full support for their future endeavours in taking TAL forward.
The following members have been elected to form the new Board of Trustees to lead TAL for the next three-year term in the:

2. Mr Giridhar Putlur – Vice Chairman & IT
3. Mr Chengalvarayam Boppana – Fundraising
4. Mrs Suneetha Arige – TCC
5. Mr Satya Peddireddi – Cultural
6. Mr Venkat Thotakura – Sports
7. Mr Lakshman Kota – Membership & PR

TAL Founder Member and Advisors Mr Sreedhar Vanam and Dr Ramulu Dasoju congratulated the newly elected Board and called upon all members to extend their support and cooperation to the new leadership. Mr Vanam encouraged the members to work together towards advancing TAL’s mission and achieving the organisation’s objectives.
The newly formed Board of Trustees thanked the members of TAL for placing their trust in them and providing them with the opportunity to serve the Telugu community. The new Board expressed its commitment to working collectively with members, volunteers and well-wishers to continue TAL’s work in preserving and promoting Telugu culture and strengthening the Telugu community across the United Kingdom.
The AGM marked the conclusion of one chapter in TAL’s journey and the beginning of a new term of leadership, with a shared commitment to the organisation’s continued growth and service to the community.
